We Care, Value, Challenge
Through experiences gained we recognise that the well-being and academic achievement of the majority of young people is significantly accelerated by addressing the root causes of behavioural, emotional, social difficulties, and without this some young people simply cannot access education. Inclusion has many forms but one principle, the right of a person to have the same opportunities and respect as anyone else.
We find pleasure through succeeding in our learning: building skills, knowledge and understanding. We actively promote our belief that each child and adult feel valued for their own personal worth and contribution.
Virtual Welcome Tour of our School site
We have been asked by many interested families to put together a short video clip of our school site and facilities because visits are not permitted during Covid Lockdown.
Eltham Head Teachers Welcome
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Serenity School Eltham and our school website. As an all-through ASD/ADHD and SEMH specific Independent Special School, we are pleased that we can offer a safe, stimulating and caring environment set in the lush open fields on the grounds of Eltham Palace.
At Serenity School Eltham, we fundamentally believe that a rounded education is key to self-transformation for all our learners, and as such, our pupils benefit from our bespoke three-tiered learner centred Socio-Education Curriculum Model that promotes a wraparound care approach.
Pupils at Serenity School experience a broad and balance academic base, therapeutic support from Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Counselling. We provide individualised and group Enrichment and Engagement activities along with personalised ASD/SEMH learning support so that our young people are able to leap from ‘stepping-stones to milestones’ in all aspects of their learning.
Our exceptional school community strives on excellence in everything we do. We embrace our school’s five core principles of, ‘We look after ourselves, We look after each other, We look after our learning, school, community and world, We look after our future.
Our frequent stakeholders’ feedback underscores our school’s drive to be a beacon of success and remains true to our school values of Inclusion, Independence and Self-Worth.
We are committed to equality and inclusion and have an unwavering commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of all our learners in a stimulating environment.
Please feel free to book a visit to tour our inspiring school community to see for yourself the exceptional teaching and learning opportunities available to all learners, regardless of their starting point, their abilities or their needs, we are committed to ensure they achieve beyond their penitential.
