Enrichment and Engagement Activities at Serenity School

The timetable is designed to do most academic learning in the morning with 45 minute lessons which are a mix of both vocational and academic subjects.

From midday onwards we aim to have more practical and physical learning taking place with a strong focus on developing positive relationships and a building self-esteem and self-worth.

Learning through Sport and Fitness;

We have a range of local partnership providers who enable us to offer a high quality sports, exercise and fitness curriculum offer that includes weekly visits to the following;

  • Gym
  • Adventure Centres
  • Clubs – Football, Boxing, Martial Arts, Golf, Tennis, Cycling to name just a few
  • Outdoor expeditions

Learning through Exploration;

  • Team Days away
  • Field Trips to support what you learning the in classroom ( Real life examples to test and try)

Learning through Challenging Yourself;

  • Membership of Club – Army cadets, Fire and rescue, Police cadets, animal rescue……..
  • Moto Cross
